One, Samaritan's Purse, Blood Water Mission - Make it Happen!
In April, my wife handed me the phone - our family physician wanted to give me the news regarding my scans. I had been losing weight, having night sweats, along with an irritating cough. I put the phone to my ear and expected news of pneumonia. What I got was the dreaded C-word -- cancer.
By the grace of God, I survived 18 weeks of chemotherapy and just last week, my cancer is in complete remission. During that 18 weeks, I thought, If God gives me more time, what would I do with it? Now, I know: help the sick, poor, homeless and less fortunate. Still thinking of my "game plan" to do just that, which will probably be to start local and broaden it out from there.
